    Made the same thread on the general forum so im sorry for repeating it here but i wanted to see the opinion of the Brits most of all about this.

    This will surely heavily favour Khan but is this fair?
    I feel Cortez is probably the worst ref in boxing currently but thats just my 2 cents.

    This completely handicaps Petersons gameplan.

    Could see it coming a mile off. No way did Khan & Goldenboy kick up such a stink to get the rematch without taking out some insurance against their investment.

    They have too much to lose. Awful news for fans though, because all else aside the last fight was a great match-up, and Cortez has a habit of ruining those. His record of incompetence and inappropriate interference is appalling, and he still gets the big fights.

    If you can't get Smoger to Vegas, then get Kenny Bayless.

    That was mentioned through a BBC article. An article from them can be as credible as anyone posting on here. The person who wrote the article said that it's "widely expected". In other words, he's just assuming.

    Nothing in the article shows me that Peterson mentioned anything about it being Cortez.
