I had no problem with the outcome in the fight, but if it results in Cortez finally becoming irrelevant then I'm all for it.

 

Cortez looked to me like he was confused, asking what looks like the timekeeper something......I think Ortiz picked up on that and thought that time had'nt been called in.

As I'm looking at the replay, it looks like Cortez signals time in, but then takes his attention off of the fighters and looks and say's something to someone outside the ring ropes.

There is'nt an ounce of doubt in my mind Mayweather knocks Ortiz out within the next few rounds, but lets be serious here, a good ref gets between the fighters and calls time in as he steps away from the fighters.
Cortez seriously needs to be fired. He should not be allowed to referee another fight again.
