You either didn't see the fight or are just straight up lying. Which one is it? Dawson got caught with straight right, got back up and was fine. He wasn't close to being stopped.

Dawson fought on the undercard of the lacy fight in manchester so i reckon calzaghe has a fair idea. From what i remember he was the only other fighter that entire night to score a knockdown other than calzaghe himself. was a slow night!!!!

PLEASE Joe fight Dawson if you beat Roy. End this hype over the guy Willie Lee dropped at 158 pounds forever.

Sad Chad "I'm coming to your house, WBC Prez, until you give me a 'note from Mommy' not to fight Diaconu" Dawson is currently the most overhyped fraud in all the sport, bar none (well, maybe David Haye).

I really hope Joe takes the fight. He would whip Dawson.

Calzaghe-Dawson = Calzaghe-Lacy II. Just another pretender exposed.

you sounded like as if Calzaghe have beaten Kelly. FYI Bernard did. Joe thinks he is the light heavy weight champs and signs a fight with a shell of Roy is very ***** like if you ask me. Chad dawson will **** Joe. you know it and I know it.

tliang1000. have a word. It is clear that Joe would beat kelly and it always has been. Chad would do no such thing. and after chad has been exposed you'll have another name i'm sure!

When the Kessler/ Calzaghe fight was being talked about. HBO didn't want to put up the money at first. Showtime approached Team Calzaghe and offere a two fight deal. The first fight would've been against Dawson at 168. Calzaghe would've then fought Kessler if he beat Dawson.

I don't blame Joe! He's had a long career and he's winding down. To face a guy like Dawson he'll have to be motivated and "Motivation" has always been lacking in Joe's career. Until recently he hasn't really "STEPPED UP" to face challenges that were ever present throughout his career. Now that he's getting the attention and respect by winning against some names he's becoming satisfied with how things are playing out. Of course boxing fans, historians and analysts know that by him beating Hopkins wasn't a legacy builder moreso than a "NICE NAME" to have on ones resume under the "W" column.

Really? Where do these boxing fans, historians and analysts rank Hopkins in P4P terms out of todays boxers as of right now?

Very true. Thing is, they won't do it- it'd be too expensive, and too much risk on their part to not make the money back if Chad doesn't win. His team doesn't take that kind of financial risk. From Joe's standpoint, I think he's also paranoid that Dawson is just another new name people have come up with that he'll get no credit for if he did win.

Will Chad Dawson offer a lot of money?, the answer is no, Dawson still isn't fully established and has a long way to go before he starts bringing megafights. Joe is on his way out and if he considers any fight then he will only consider the big ones, Dawson doesn't provide those yet and Joe has nothing left to prove anyway. If you still doubt him then you most likely hate him, after everything he has done there's no room for doubts in my opinion.

He's up there now with a PAV victory and was present but everyone knows the version Joe faught in Hopkins was not the best.....An argument can be made that this Old version of bhop met and tested the very best Joe available.
