Joe Fraizer vs Rocky Marciano

    They ran it through their computer and it predicted a very close fight with Fraizer being floored 3 times in round 14 and Marciano getting TKO win. The computer also predicted Marciano being floored during the fight. All in all, it looks to me to predict a realistic scenario.

    Of course, it could be the exact same scenario except Marciano goes down 3 times in round 14 and Fraizer gets the TKO.

    I always thought that if those 2 clashed, regardless of who won, it would be a career shortening fight for both and both would spend some time in the hospital.

    Oh, boy, a compiled Basic program said so! I am sure that purely unbiased data was entered.

    A tough fight full of exchanges in which the slower, less balanced Marciano comes out in increasingly on the short end. Mercante stops the threshing of Marciano's face in the 8th.

    You can do so against a used-up Charles who would go .500 for the rest of his career.

    A slightly taller order against the guy who beat Ali.

    Marciano may win but he could never break Frazier`s will. Nobody could.

    This is one Im on the fence about. I mean, I believe that if you switched the 2, they both would have had similar success that the other one had in his time.

    Fraizer is bigger, yes. But the fact that Marciano likely hit harder and was more of a two handed puncher and probably could match Fraizer in strength kind of nullifies the size advantage, especially in close.

    IMO, a hard fight for both men and whoever wins would have to pay a great price to do so.

    Yeah....either way it goes, Fraizer is in their until the ref stops it, the last bell, or one of them gets knocked unconscious.

    That's strawman, I did nothing of the sort. I simply made a claim and backed it up by evidence. Maybe you should give it a try, its called an argument...

    Whatever the result,and I think it is almost a 50/50 fight. Marciano is not breaking Frazier's will!
