For the second Foreman fight, That is really heavy for joe anyone know why? He was only 32 at the time.

maybe he was only 32 but this isnt the modern days. 32 is old back then.

he decided to box and move like patterson did against chuvalo using his quicker hands and agility to move away and get the points.
he did far better in the 2nd i feel not a replay which people will say. he did really well just got caught after a while and was stopped.

to be honest was tyson in his prime at 30 or at least a undisputed champion.

i think he bulked up becuase he felt it would work for him in the later rounds and his abilty to stay fit wasnt like it was before.

Frazier originally took up boxing to lose weight. (Just as Willie Pastrano did.) Joe's diabetic, so weight control could be a life and death issue for him. (It's entirely feasible that if he had never done anything athletic, he might not be alive today.) Anyhow, 225 was probably a more natural weight for him throughout his career. It's my understanding that this is about what he walks around at now, and that having diabetes compells him to keep a lid on it. Otherwise, he could have gone the way of his old contemporary and adversary, Buster Mathis Sr. (RIP)
