So Frazier beat up Ali badly, but he'd lose to Byrd or Young? Nice trolling attempt.

Only by you, he's not close to top 20 on consensus lists here.
Schmeling and Lewis were much better than Corbett.
Their resumes are twice as good as Corbett's.
Fitzsimmons is a lock top 10 P4P fighter ever, you are delusional :D

    Technique-Frazier
    Power-Brewster
    Defense-Frazier
    Accuracy-Frazier
    Height/reach-Brewster
    Head movement-Frazier
    Hand speed-Frazier
    Body punching-Frazier
    Combinations-Frazier
    Chin-Brewster
    Stamina-Frazier
    Ring IQ/generalship-Frazier
    Heart/toughness-somewhat even

Not sure how Brewster is supposed to win this outside of a punchers chance. A disadvantage in power can be nullified by having superior hand speed, and accuracy which Frazier had. A disadvantage in chin can be overcome by having superior defense, head movement, and ring IQ, which Frazier had. Being the smaller and less physically strong fighter can be overcome with superior stamina and technique, which Frazier had. He's superior in every other category. Honestly it's a mismatch if we're being even remotely objective.

So wrong you have to be trolling. No way did Brewster have better hand speed or was he better defensively than Frazier. I like Brewster as a fighter but I heard all kinds of stories if his he use to get beat to **** at wild card in LA by James Toney and Jason Garvin. Brewster struggled quite a bit with guys like Meehan, Lehovich, etc and his best win was against Klitschko which was a brave effort but let's face it Klitschko punched himself out. Brewster's resume does not compare to Frazier's and I don't believe for a second that Brewster could beat Quarry or Ali let alone Terrell or Oscar B. Again, I like and respect Brewster but he was not half the fighter Frazier was.

Brewster's defense better? He blocked with his face. It looked like he deliberately ate 2-3 shots to land a few of his own in some fights.

No they do not have remotely similar head and upper body movement. Frazier was top 5 in the divisions history for those categories.

Frazier clearly had faster hands. You must be smoking K2 spice if you think brewster was faster.

Who are all these alleged believers that Brewster would win?

I think Brewster lasts til the end and has his moments but loses a valiant effort

Show me one proof of him cheating. Not some conspiracy theories without any facts to back it up. How many times was Fitzsimmons DQed? When anybody proved that he cheated?

Frazier undoubtadly achieved more in his era. But Brewster has 25lb of muscle on Frazier, height and reach, is more explosive and hit harder. Frazier had better stamina and workrate. The workrate may get him a decision if his chin first defence manages to take Brewsters power, which is no given.

If you gave Frazier 20lbs of muscle in the modern era I'd pick him without question but he'd get pushed around and would struggle to take the bigger man's punches in my view

This is a myth often repeated. Ruiz jabbed Golota's head off round on round, despite the early knock downs. I missed the Byrd fight.

Golota was definitely back to good form however and a live body

Brewster is too pedestrian to beat Frazier, he would be outworked here, barring a lucky shot he gets comprehensively outpointed.imo Frazier's accuracy being the difference.
