Where were you guys when Jones beat Ruiz. The boards were split 50:50 right down the middle favoring him against Louis, Dempsey, Frazier and some even vs. a prime Foreman. Where have they all gone? Everyone's pissing on RJJ now.

I guess seeing a 55 year old, shot Jones getting knocked out half a dozen times so he can pay the taxman has changed perception much?

i wonder if or how long Jones could stay on the outside

i dont think he would be off the ropes for a full 15 rounds and if he was i dont know if he would be able to get out

the scary thing is the bad eye that Joe had, Roy had fast hands there is the chance he could circle quick enough to get in Joes blind spot and shoot a fast right

personally though i believe Ali hit harder but Roy would move more and maybe be faster than post exile Ali

i think Frazier takes this one

Most intelligent Boxing fans woke the **** up and realized that cherrypicking and beating a fat, feather fisted slob like Ruiz just to capture a trinket belt didn't really mean **** all in terms of Jones' potential at HW. If he stood a chance against guys of that stature he would have tried his luck with the real HW champion Lennox Lewis or he would fought his mandatory after Ruiz who was none other than Vitali Klitschko. He did neither of these, ran back to LHW to avoid having his Glass Jaw shattered, then it happened anyway. Roid did not and does not have a Chin and that is why he would not beat any legitimate ATG HW.

    Concur.

Jones would have a few moments, but he ain't getting through Fraziers power.

And I am not one of the those Jones has a glass jaw numbnuts.

No chance of that. A prime Jones moves to well to get caught in the first.

He would get caught, but it would take a few rounds.
