You either are just trying to dig up some debate for the sake of it or simply don't know what your talking about … with 26 posts it's likely both …

    Jesus H Christ.

I can't believe people are so stupid that they portray their ignorance like awards.

Of course ALI WAS JEALOUS of FRAZIER, FFS.

Here is a guy who by his own ( and most other people's definition ) was the most gifted and athletic Heavyweight who ever lived, and in exile he is being upstaged by the most genuine, blue collar, hard working, Heavyweight, loved by the public, who ever lived.

Joe was the antithesis of Ali. Of course he fvcking hated him, and everything he stood for. He'd be a halfwit if he didn't.

  6. The only halfwit is you funny man. Ali made Boxing the sport it is today. Joe was nothing but a paragraph in the mans life.

Were you BORN stupid, or have you worked all your life to achieve that status?

I am not taking sides here. I am merely stating the reality of the times. Ali promoted himself, and indeed the public perceived him as untouchable. In his exile along comes Joe, the complete antithesis of Ali. A guy willing to take shots to land his own.

The public warmed to him. The way Ali saw it was, why the hell was Joe so admired for being no different to any other Heavyweight, punch, and get punched, whereas he was all about, I'll hit you, but you can't hit me.

Of course he resented the way the public took to Frazier.

  8. Admired by who lol. Give me some examples.

    Are you a complete ******?

The Heavyweight champion of the world is always admired, particularly if they are American, even if they are a convicted ******.

Even YOU can't be that stupid.

This claim that Joe Frazier did not know what an Uncle Tom meant -- I once saw a documentary called "Champions Forever". It featured Frazier, Ali, Norton, Foreman and Holmes, all old men, in a roundtable discussion, some highlights of fights and background information on the subjects.

In a clip Joe Frazier says (paraphrased): "He called me an Uncle Tom. I didn't know what an Uncle Tom was. Thought that was a guy peeking through windows. (guy in background:"Peeping Tom!") Peeping Tom! Thought he was calling me a peeping tom."

    Seemed pretty earnest.

    Found it:

    Around the 60 minute mark.

  13. Michael Jordan was a HUGE admirer of Ali. I win.
