My favourite heavyweight of all time. He won the most significant heavyweight match in the history of the sport. The greatest inside fighter of all the heavyweight champions, imo. He represents pretty much everything I love about boxing. My thoughts are with him. If I believed in prayer, my prayers would certainly be with him too.

Well, ****, now that that's taken care of, I won't worry.

What a unique talent he was, with a heart as big as any fighter ever to go with his skills and power. I remember when I first sparred about eight years ago, I tried to emulate his bobbing-and-weaving and kept looking to go under a right to land a big left hook. Images of Joe throwing that shot were actually in my mind as I was sparring

I hope he enjoys the company of his loved ones during his last days.

    so so sad.
when i think of joe frazier, i remember the documentary thrilla in manilla, when the interviewer asked joe frazier, would he had gone out for the 15th round in manilla, knowing he was risking his sight and even his life, frazier said yes, without thinking.
thats the difference between fighters then and fighters now.

:verysad Saw on Derek Chisora's Twitter the other day that his thoughts were with Frazier and his family. I couldn't find any other information at the time but this must have been what he meant. Very sad news.
