That version of Frazier would potentially have been a hard fight for most. I think Liston, Lewis, and Foreman are always difficult fights for him and he loses here. Though I think Foreman wins against this version of Frazier too it would have been a harder win for him because he was not the same fighter by the time he fought Foreman. Vitali Klitschko & Mike Tyson have good chances though I think if Tyson does not stop him early, and Frazier could be vulnerable early on he's in with a good chance of being stopped later. Louis is in with a good shot but could be stopped himself. I think against Holmes it's either way.

Forgot -think he beats the pre-60s champions. Probably decisions Holyfield but as others said it would likely be an absolute brawl.

I doubt that Ali is the only great that he would have beaten.

Once again, this comes from george foreman himself.
"Joe Frazier, he was the toughest guy I’d ever seen".

But i'm 100% sure that george would never say that evander was a couple classes below frazier in that department

Agreed, pressure boxers can be difficult for Usyk, but I still see him beating Frazier. Usyk vs Frazier will resemble a bit the Ali vs Frazier fight, the difference being that although Usyk may not be quite as fast as Ali, he's more skilled.

I agree Holyfield liked to brawl, but IMO he wins a brawl vs Frazier cause he can hit ok with either hands, unlike Frazier.
Also, IMO Holyfield has a better chin, albeit that may be due to roids.

I also see Bowe winning a brawl with Frazier.

But this will be a prime Wlad, the jab and grab one. Wlad will win a boring points fight.

My answer is yes. There are a number of all time greats I’d favor him to beat and others that would be very close.

This myhtical FOTC Frazier fought a rusty post exile Ali who had barely any rounds under his belt plus he lost his legs........yes he won but it was close.

Mythical Frazier fought Ali two more times and lost both.

Mythical Frazier made a couple of title defenses vs absolute no hopers.

Mythical Frazier got bounced like a little kid by Foreman X2.............the only real Banger he ever met.

Mythical Frazier is 1-4 in his signature fights.

Mythical Frazier was steered clear of ANY Big punchers thru his career until he ran into a green unproven Foreman.

Mythical Frazier has a shot vs Marciano, Holmes and Holyfield

Mythical Frazier gets stopped 10 out 10 vs Louis, Foreman, even quicker by Tyson, then comes Bowe who would upper cut him into Oblivion, same with Lewis and yes Wilder who has landed his right against every fighter he has ever met and Mythical Frazier aint got the chin to take that right.

Hi there,Fergy. Joe could indeed have beaten quite a few ATG s and given a competitive fight against others. I see him beating -

    Jack Dempsey
    Gene Tunney
    Rocky Marciano
    Evander Holyfield
Giving close but no cigar contests to -

    Muhammad Ali (Prime)
    Joe Louis
    Lennox Lewis

Would get totally blitzed by -

    Sonny Liston
    George Foreman (Prime '71 Frazier)

Larry Holmes is the hardest match up. A 50/50 one.

That's a few to be going on with.

    Alright, Stevie.
The Foreman pick is so true. Doesn't matter what Frazier rock s up, big George will hammer him.
Just no getting around it for me
I've seen some Pick Marciano to beat him, but I ain't seeing that myself.
I think Rocky just takes to much punishment for his own good.

    Good conversation...

I agree with @McGrain's picks above for old timers though I think Joe would stop Jeffries.

That said, I would pick him to beat some really good modern fighters like Bowe but perhaps lose to some dangerous fringe types like Morrison. He's a weird match-up.

I do know he would lose to Foreman.

Joe Frazier was a great fighter and an all time top ten P4P heavyweight for sure ... all accomplished nearly blind in one ever from the start of his career ... an incredible fighter ..

The best version of Frazier is a good matchup against any ATG historically.

But at their best, the ones who would trouble him most would be Liston, Foreman, and Lewis.

I could see him taking out Joe Louis. Bad style matchup for Joe.

He would cream Dempsey and Johnson because they kept their hands too low. Larry Homes would be interesting. If Shaver can get there Frazier can
