    Fighting "soft touches" between real challenges was commonplace. Now the tendency is simply not fight.

    I agree with this. Frazier knew he had a weak chin and so did his management. That`s why he choose to fight George Foreman not once but twice.

    Word on the street was if you had a suspect chin fight Foreman. It`s genius.

    I would like to have seen him mix with Patterson. It seems like that would a decent payday given Patterson's profile.

    Thing is no one ever calls out Frazier for ducking Garcia, even though he was ranked above Foster in both those lists posted by sweetsci. Garcia's win over Norton in 1970 is a better win than Foster ever mustered. If Frazier fought him, he'd be a blown up light-heavy and another cherry pick.
