I've always been a believer in styles make fights. IMO a great swarmer gives a great boxer all he can handle, a boxer beats a ko artist, and a ko artist loves nothing more than a face first swarmer or any fighter that likes to stay right in front of them to unleash those bombs. Frazier against Tyson, I like Tyson's chances. Frazier against the Klits, if they keep him at a distance, edge for them, even an uppercut from Wlad might drop him, but if he starts applying pressure and especially connects just once with that left hook, he would of toppled either of those giants. Frazier might of not been as powerful as some of the bigger heavyweights, but very few fought as aggressive or consistent as he did.

What does weight have to do with it? From what i have seen of both fighters, i would say Joe is physically stronger than Mike, Mike wasn't really that good on the inside or in clinches.

Tyson I think has the best shot out of the crew but even him...eh...George is a monster

Tyson might have a shot if he charges out of the gate, sprinting towards George, like Dempsey did against Willard. Frazier wasn't fast on his feet, nor was he nearly as fast as Tyson all around. Plus, Frazier wasn't exactly in the best shape going in against George.

Maybe, just maybe, if Tyson gets there first and if doesn't get caught coming in, he can land something big and continue to land shot after shot and keep George off balance. No care for 12 rounds....end it as fast as you can. And if George can survive say, 3 rounds and so do you...well...Good luck but Tyson is going down.

A Lyle style fight might be Tyson's only shot. But maybe I'm wrong.

I just think Tyson has to go in there fighting for his life to kill his opponent.

Actually he wasn't as bad as you make him out to be.

He routinely was responsible for clinching his opponents. Tyson liked to play victim but it was obvious the way he had the upper-hand in most of those clinches. He could also push fighters off him if he wanted. But sometimes of course he couldn't or just wouldn't. Clinches tend to be hard to get out of and it is even costly on your energy. It's better to let the ref break it up and regain the mid-range position that Tyson liked so much.

The one guy he just couldn't tag right and get the upper-hand was with Bone Crusher Smith but that Man was a Big MF.

Lewis would have always bothered him as well. But again, we are talking about Super-HW strength guys.

Tyson is strong. Joe wasn't so strong in that competition I saw him in back in the day...but of course that's weight-lifting and if your muscles aren't adjusted for it. it might not be the best example.

Tyson appeared to be physically thicker than Frazier all around. And not just thicker, but strong.

Even as a young youth, Tyson was known to be strong.

But I don't think he is Foreman. And keeping it closer to his size, I would even think Liston is probably stronger than Tyson considering I heard stories, and maybe they are just stories, but Liston used to push around Foreman in sparring.

Mike wasn't so bad on the inside. He had the ability but he didn't always use it:

Marciano would knock frazier clean out, his chin is too good and his volume is too much for frazier after a few rds. id have marciano by tko rd7. Tyson is very much up for debate. If frazier survived early he could stop mike. However, tyson has the ability to stop anyone early.

I agree he would've beat Marciano, but Tyson? I don't know. I give him a 35% chance at beating tyson.

yeah he can say it. Frazier was beaten by Ali and Foreman easily beat him up. My thoughts are that Tyson would have stopped him easily. Mike was a little bigger than the Frazier who fought Ali. And Mike had two hands. Frazier was probably tougher mentally, but Mike was better with his punches.

The whole old fighters couldn't hang, even in his time I don't buy that. Look at Archie Moore, old ass Moore went into his era and did decent. Think of a prime Moore. :good

He think's he could go back in time and beat Foreman? Nahhh

I do agree he whoops Marciano's ass.

Tyson busts Frazier up and stops him. Marciano could catch him.

Both would be exciting fights (Tyson vs. Frazier and Marciano vs. Frazier).
