Joe Frazier, born in the 1880 s, turning pro in the same condition s as Jack Johnson, Langford, Jeannette. Cut out of the immediate title shot due to the colour bar, how's he do matched numerous times against the names of the time?Does he get past JJ and how long does he hold the belt?

His fights with Jeanette and Langford would be classics.

He would pick up losses, because he would end up having to fight them all multiple times.

Frazier had the style and dynamic footwork to rip up boxer types without power. He'd beat Johnson.

Jeannette can hang tough but eventually would fold.

Langford vs. Frazier, oh what a war. I'll go with Sam's superior durability and versatility on offense. Langford is also the stronger of the two, and probably the harder hitter.

This is what I thought. He'd end up facing em time and time again. His style of fighting, wouldn't have seen him have a long run of success. If he gets to Burns before Johnson, if he's fighting regular then I don't see him keeping the title as long. Would take more out of Joe than someone like Johnson imo.

Yes, Langford v Joe would be a great fight imo, maybe they'd meet two or more occasions but career shortening fights surely for both.
