A bit bigger? 19.5" biceps -14"=5.5" 49"chest 39" =10"! 15" forearm 12" = 3" 19,5" Neck 16.25"=3.25" Yes just a bit!lol
Thicker when fatter. All this shows is Tua was 3” fatter all round when he was 50lb overweight. No cause to make dinosaur bone comparisons. When you produce measurements of the 201lb Tua with 190lb Rocky (rather than the bloated fat boy measurements and comparing them to Rocky) you might be able to prove something.
Im talking in facts. Not projections one simply wants to be true because their logic is biased, and they hit a brickwall.
Of course McVey doesnt know what hes talking about. Muscle measurements have nothing to do with frame. Wrist to height ratio is the only semi accepted practice and even that is sketchy and unreliable. Going by that all three men (Frazier, Tua, Marciano) fall into the large category but so do almost all boxers with 7-8 inch wrists. The truth is Marciano was ripped as high as 192, while Tua was a fat 200 pounds and Frazier was a non ripped but fit 205. Tua certainly under went a transformation and there was nothing natural or magical about it.
So you are saying wrist and fists change with weight?Tua was never 50lbs overweight ,you are talking nonsense. Here is Tua at 23 years old he weighed 225lbs is he fat? This content is protected
He looks extremely built up like weight lifter yes. If you turned all the blubber on Tony Galento into muscle he would look like Tua. But so is almost everyone else from that period to now. Wrists and fists vary between people of the exact same size. Tua was perhaps a little bigger naturally. In truth, without “modern training” Tua was the same as kitione Lave. This content is protected
Lmao!! Byrd is so slick, he won every round against WLAD right? Of course Ali is no Byrd, they shouldn't be even mentioned in the same sentence !! Ali movement !! reflexes!! Slickness !! .. oh lord, please show this poor blind man the light!!!
Rocky trained like a maniac, likely coming down from above the weight where Tua started his pro career for several fights. Did Tua have a thicker frame? Yes, but did he also train for muscle? Yes. Frazier in the 1990's? He might not even be champ. Well I'd pick him over Moorer, and maybe if he caught Holyfield at the right point in time or got a shot vs the Foreman who defeated Moorer. Outside of that he's not likely beating Holy, Lewis, Ike or Bowe and could be upset mind you by the likes of Tua, Morrison, Tyson, and others....
Yeah, that's nuts. I am a huge fan of Byrd for the record, but Frazier would break him down. But this Al Ghoul character has never been right.
http://static2.stuff.co.nz/1253572386/626/2889626.jpg (not sure how to post a pic) Tua was not 50lbs overweight in his prime he was much bigger then Marciano look at the size of his legs. He just had a bigger frame just like Tyson did, why are Marciano fans convinced he would be this massive guy if he were around today. Even Dempsey had a bigger frame then Rocky.
I like McVey's not so clever bait and switch. He posted stats about biceps, chest, forearm, and neck; and when you CORRECTLY pointed out those stats vary with muscle mass and fat gain, he responds with "you think fist and wrist size" changes with weight. Haha, that's not what he said, it's pathetic. And wrist and fist size do change lol At least until your mid 30s. So strike 3 on that one, McVey.
