Very true, Joe Frazier's band was called, The Knockouts. Ernie Terrell used to sing, I saw him sing live on The Hollywood Palace, before his losing effort against Muhammad Ali on Feb 6 1967.

    ???

You saw how often Frazier himself fought in his days ? Do you think this is a style to go 48-0 during the course of the 70s and 80s? Ok...

I think Frazier was a product of blooming between Liston and Foreman, with the fortune of fighting the past-it GOAT, who became a stylewise perfect match afterwards. At the avarage HW scene including 90s, hes overrated @ H2H.
Does anybody rly believe Frazier beats the guy who made speedster Patterson look slow? ....

Plus, I'm almost positive Joe broke one of Larry's ribs sparring in 1970 or 71, and he did the same.

I was wondering where you were! I thought you were explaining to someone why a young Mike Tyson would never beat Tom Sharkey.

Fraizer slaughters the 80s lads before Tyson arrives without a doubt, who beats Frazier In the 80s of Larry’s competition?

No. Frazier did little with his title the way it was, he made two poor showings vs. unranked men, and got destroyed by Foreman. While he's probably be the pick to beat most of those punchers on an individual basis, they are 60/40 type of matches. Frazier style would force action, but his chin would not hold up for long. Holmes overcame some real bombs by controlling not forcing the action. Frazier would force the action, meaning his open more often to be hit, and wasn't close to as durable as Holmes was.

    Holmes-Frazier would be outrageously good.

Marvis beat Bonecrusher Smith so I'm sure Joe beats him up pretty good.

If he did Larrys game, he´d have to face Shavers two times, Weaver, Cooney, Witherspoon and Smith. Thats 6 punchers who were bigger (excluding Foreman) and better than any other puncher Frazier met. And he got dropped by that fellows too.....

There's a question of whom Frazier would fight.

If he fought the same line-up as Larry Holmes, he'd likely go a long way.

If he had to go through peak versions of Page, Dokes, Thomas, Tubbs, Coetzee and Tucker, it's not likely that he would run that gauntlet undefeated.
