    Stay hungry and stay inshape. Frazier's conditioning after he beat Ali went in the toilet. Futch himself said Frazier was only going through the motions after making $2.5 million in the first Ali fight. The only other time he showed up in even decent shape after the FOTC was the Bugner fight and even then he wasn't in top shape.

    This is why I rate him lower than Marciano, who was never out of shape as the champion despite me liking both fighters.

    As Joe said: "George hits a ton". Joe couldn't change from being "Joe", and that is a serious problem against Foreman.

    Well dammit, it sure would have been a great idea for him to have retired undefeated...citing some reason like concerns regarding his health, or just a diminished interest in the sport itself....like an intelligent guy named Gene Tunney did.
