Do anyone use Joe Frazier style anymore? Or is there a new modern version of it? Why anyone doesn't fight like Smoking Joe anymore? That style requires a lot of conditioning, but it can be effective when mastering it. Most of the boxing coaches what I see try to teach every fighter the same counter puncher or outside figter style, they're not focusing to fighters strenghts.

its very difficult style which is taylor made for frazier, its his natural style which he developed through years of training (broken right arm, his build etc..).

style making comes through years, if you copy someones style, you will never be like him, or better then him. The best thing is to learn from others styles and build your own way of boxing, which will suit only you.

Many boxers try to emulate floyd, toney or roy jones and fail miserably.

dereck chisora remainds me on frazier in some occasions

. That also crossed my mind.

Also Frazier's style is more useful when you are a 'Compact' Heavyweight, something that is a little difficult to see these days. If you look in lighter divisions you might find someone that resembles his style a little (Orlando 'Siri' Salido or Francisco 'Kiko' Martinez for example).

When Joe Frazier trained fighters, he tried to make every last one of them fight in his style.
