Good luck Fraizer, I think Obama has other things to worry about than boxing at the movement.

I have mixed thoughts here. I get what Frazier is saying. Yes, back in the 60's and 70's there were fewer divisions, and less sanctioning bodies.

There were multiple belts in Frazier's day. Frazier opted out of the WBA tournament to crown a champion when Ali was in exile, and fought Buster Mathis for the New York State title. I'm not sure if Frazier has moral ground to talk about the politics of boxing.

Boxing still has its share of rivalries, but they are not at heavyweight. Check the lower weights.

If you want to restore boxing to is former glory, the general public MUST be able to see the fights for free on television. When people know who the boxers are, the matches themselves are far more interesting the average sports fan.

The New York State title was highly regarded in those days and you were considered one of the best in the world if you held that belt.

I agree what you are saying about getting Boxing back on track.

Philly really needs a statue of Joe right where Rocky's was in the movies. That would be a good gesture.

Fully agree. Getting into boxing, it was frustrating to me that I couldn't see the good fighters on TV for free. I sure as **** couldn't and can't afford PPV, so it's very frustrating. This is not good for boxing, putting the fights on regular cable would massively increase exposure.
