For beating frazier and norton in the way he did, coming back and winning the title and becoming oldest heavyweight champ, beating guys like lyle cooney obviously frazier x2 and norton ect ect, winning the gold medal with only 2 years of boxing and 20 amateur fights hanging with a prime holyfield and not getting knocked out

Frazier is a joke. Theres a saying that goes only the weak chinned goes first. Ali has had parkinsons and he's not dead yet.

He's considered an all time great because he was in perhaps the best boxing trilogy with Ali. His win over Ali was pretty impressive too.
