    Foreman was stronger.
At 17 years old Foreman was lifting cows and when you see him in comeback at old age doing some crazy stuff like pulling jeep, I wonder how can people even mention Liston being as strong as Foreman.

I agree to a degree that in this alternate universe Frazier could be frozen by Patterson, but as happened IRL soon or later Floyd will need to stop playing to the dolls and fight a real challenger, and as it was mentioned by other posters compared to Liston, Joe "seems" less threatening, so he could be the preferred option.
In any case, Floyd will eventually stop running and choose his poison: Sonny or Joe.

I agree Foreman was stronger than Liston, but frankly those comparison are like asking what hits worse: a heavy duty truck or a express train.
In both cases Joe is toast.

Foreman knows how to cut ring, push fighters and how to use his power while Liston is boxer- puncher and is more about skills.
Foreman pick apart fighters fast while Liston takes a time to pick his best punches, that's why Liston needed more time to KO someone unlike Foreman.
Foreman faced faded Frazier while FOTC Frazier is better plus Liston isn't as wrong as Foreman for Frazier that's why I think this fight would be much closer, because Liston isn't Foreman and this is a prime Frazier we're talking about.
I say it's 50/50 fight, If Liston doesn't TKO him before 6,7 rounds then Frazier would beat him.

I agree Frazier lasts longer vs Liston than he did vs Foreman, but I seriously doubt that is a good thing for him.
As bad as the beating by Foreman was, at least it was over quickly.
But versus Liston, the longer Frazier goes then the accumulative damage increases.
I am afraid by the 6 - 8 rounds Frazier would already be seriously damaged goods.

But this would be not fat past prime Frazier, this would be lean Frazier at his best like FOTC fight and Liston again isn't Foreman.
If FOTC Frazier last more than 6 rounds he would wear Liston down.
