Does anyone else feel like Frazier and what he brought to the sport is underappreciated a bit?

He's not underated in Classic. He's lauded in there. We love him.

Aside from Armstrong, possibly the best fighter of his kind, ever.

Lots of boxers are. Joe has a HUGE bunch of fans. I think Tyson and Frazier are The Greatest Heavys they hit like an angry mule kicks.

No everybody knows how great Smoke was the problem is he came at the wrong time. If he came along now he would be hailed as the second coming

I somewhat agree. Frazier would've fought Ali to the death while Sonny quit on his stool facing a yound Cassius Clay.

i rate him no.8 on heavyweights so hes not underrated by me I feel. Most people have him similar. Hes near the bottom of the top ten. I have him just ahead of Dempsey and Liston.

He was a warrior that is for sure, but he gets credit. Guys like Holmes are underappreciated. That was a great fighter, which shows you how good Michael Spinks was.

And by underappreciated, I also mean just in terms of his heart, work ethic, just everything he stood for. And how he represented Philly. How the f--k was there a "Rocky" statue erected, but not a statue of Frazier lol.

Joe Fraizer was one of the only great fighters ive seen. Fraizer had a short prime, but at his best i would give him a chance against any fighter that ever lived. He had skills and character.
