Frazier would wear Spoon out and stop him late imo.

Fraziers pace too much for Tim, Frazier would not allow Tim to lean and hold.

Body work and double hooks and Fraziers workrate wears Tim down and he goes down from a Left hook sometime between the 8th and the 12th

I think Frazier beats him up and stops him. Tim's best case scenario is an early round knock down.

Tim would have been a great opponent for Joe...great in the bad way.

Frazier gets a pretty good fight early on, but starts knocking Tim silly by the 8th. Ref stops the slaughter in 10.

Prime Joe Frazier would be way too much for Terrible Tim Witherspoon. Joe would not let him breath, and would smash the flabby midriff of Witherspoon, causing him to gasp for air, especially with that brutal left hook. Frazier would bring up his signature left hook, causing Tim to do the Lambada. Witherspoon's cross armed defense would begin leak more and more, until Smokin Joe crashes home a vicious left hook to the jaw of Tim's, causing him to spin to the canvas for the full ten count.

Witherspoon would suit Frazier beautifully. He might survive over 12 but not 15.

Interesting point about the cross armed guard. Not good against the hook. I wonder if a clever and crafty Fighter like Witherspoon would use it against Frazier.

Two fellow Philadelphians who I’m sure crossed paths at some point in their pasts. Joe Frazier is understandably a favorite but I’m actually shocked that most here are picking him to win so easily. That big clubbing overhand right of Tim’s isn’t going to feel to good to Joe. Spoon had a solid chin and the stamina to go fifteen as well. His reach was also longer than anyone Frazier ever faced too. I see this as being a very tough night for Smokin’ Joe and if he’s not 100% might end up on the wrong side of an upset..
