I know a lot of people say Kid Dynamite but is it really that obvious?

It's either Mike early or...if Mike sees Joe take the shots and even knockdowns yet keep coming...Mike tko in 3 or Joe ko in 9.

I remember listening to Joe Frazier on Howard Stern when Mike was still undefeated. He asked Joe how to beat Mike. He said hit him back. I know that sounds naive and simplistic but Joe was getting to the point Tyson put so much fear in his opponents they were defeated before they got in the ring. As an aside I listened to a relatively recent interview of Mike with Howard. He was a gas

Love Joe heś one of my all time favs bar none. But he doesnt have a snowballś chance in hell against Mike.....unless he gets him past the 6th round or so and 99 to 1 thatś not happening. Tyson in 3 or less.

I'd go with a young Mike via non stop two fisted attack

It take a fighter with unbelievable ring IQ combined with supreme talent to best Mike (Buster Douglas)

Prime Tyson vs Prime Frazier: I'd lean towards Tyson to win 65-70% of the time, likely by TKO within 6-8 sizzling, grueling rounds. However, if Tyson let's Frazier off the hook or simply fails to stop him, Frazier would take over and drag him into deep waters. If that happened, Frazier's late round endurance and high volume stops Tyson late. A decision is out of the question.

The fight would be decided based on who can control the pace and who can mess up the other guys rhythm. Frazier would want it to be a phone booth war burying his head in Tyson's chest or standing with their heads on each other's shoulders ripping away at the body before going upstairs. Tyson would want it to be a mid range shoot out so he can get full leverage on his nuclear power shots and set up his killer combinations.

Anything could happen really. There'd be lots of flurries, trades, and a constant change of momentum. Plenty of elbows and head clashes along the way as neither guy can back up. Would be like two alpha big horn sheep clanging into each other relentlessly and refusing to back off.

I can see Frazier screwing with Tyson's rhythm. But eventually, Tyson is going to land a beastly counter and scramble Frazier. It's over then.

It won't be quite the murder that George inflicted, because Tyson isn't going to be able to just shove Frazier back to his preferred range endlessly.

My thoughts exactly. If pressed, I lean towards the latter. Joe was something else that night.

Tyson for me ,two handed power ,faster hand speed ,bigger guy, better chin.Frazier would have to be in Tyson's wheel house all night where he could work effectively inside and where Tyson was inclined to clinch.Joe would take too much punishment coming in imo and Tyson had a good uppercut which is the antidote for the bobber and weaver.Mid to late stoppage with Futch pulling Joe out after 3 kd's, his face a swollen mess.

I see it being far more competitive than most envision. Frazier would likely attempt to crowd Tyson, push him back, smother his punches. I can see it resembling the Jesse Ferguson fight a little bit (one of Tyson’s few close quarters fights if memory serves) – as well as the Buster Mathis fight for obvious reasons.

It wouldn’t shock me if Frazier managed to pull it out. Likelier than not, though, Tyson lands a crushing uppercut within the first 6 rounds and finishes Frazier off with a furious assault.

Whatever the outcome, I see it being an ugly, awkward fight, not a great fight. Holyfield/Frazier on the other hand …

I like both fighters but this could actually end early, Joe Frazier was quite vulnerable in the early rounds. He was down a few times against Bonavena early, had issues vs Quarry early in there 1st fight. Frazier was also badly stunned vs Ali in there 2nd fight early, and may of gone down without the ref giving him time to recover. And we all know he got blown away by Foreman early.

And against probably one of the fastest starters ever in Heavyweight history, that doesn't bode well for Frazier IMO. Especially since this is gonna be a fire fight, and Frazier isn't going to box on the backfoot. And he will be getting hit hard and early.

I also don't think Joe Frazier's style is good against Mike Tyson, the people who gave Mike Tyson problems. Are not attributes that Joe Frazier has, he isn't tall nor is he going to use the jab or tie him up on the inside.

I admire Joe Frazier i think he's a fabulous fighter, but i just don't see his style matching up well vs Mike Tyson. And i think he gets KO'ed early to mid rounds IMO.

Tyson early in his career? Frazier gets put to sleep early. Tyson later when his flurry of punches were less determined and shorter in duration? Frazier has a chance. Knowing I’m in the vast minority when it comes to Frazier and his status (not high on the list), I don’t think he would fare well at all. That’s me trying to put my bias aside.

I'd like to say Joe wins but I can't see it
. Frazier gets hurt early and never gets a chance to recover.
