Smokin Joe vs the ole mongoose 15 rds.

Similar in size Fraziers defense was his perpetual motion bobbing and weaving. Would Archie be able to do to Frazier what he almost did to Marciano?

Frazier gets off the canvas a few times early, but hangs on, warms up, and breaks Moore down in the late rounds for a stoppage win.

There is no way an ancient heavyweight Archie Moore beats a prime Joe Frazier...
Pound for pound it's probably a different story....

Joe walks through the ancient, undersized Moore in similar fashion to the way he destroyed Bob Foster. Frazier within 3.

Frazier embarasses him and knocks him out. Similar to the Foster fight. 4 rounds tops.

I like Frazier to win this by ko , he would probably be dropped early, but get to Archie around the half way mark.

Frazier should be a massive favorite, no doubt about that. The complexion of the fight depends on

    1) Can Moore trap Frazier, or will he be forced on the defensive too much? Moore was strong and heavyhanded, but so was Foster, and as a heavyweight he is undersized.

    2) If Moore lowers the bomb on Frazier, will it deck him? It did deck Rocky, but Frazier offered up the top of his head willingly, and expected to be hit. Can Moore put him down with a single shot besides an uppercut, and would Moore go this route?

In all honesty, I think Frazier's left hook does the dirt before Moore can execute.

I feel Frazier would break Moore down probably with less trouble then Marciano had. The word crafty was made for Moore but his craftiness wasn't enough to handle championship level heavyweights especially ones like Frazier who would be dangerous from the opening bell on.

Frazier would put more intensity into his attack. Marciano was relentless but steady,Moore had time to pace himself a bit with Rocky, he would find the pace Smokin Joe Frazier set too hot for comfort, imo.

Frazier stops the best heavyweight version of Moore in about six rounds ...
