Joe Frazier vs. Floyd Patterson

    Yes Floyd had a very underated right hand which sadly he underused,a bit like a guy he trained for a while Razor Ruddock.

    I join those who think Frazier just had too much for Floyd.
    1. Size-Frazier at his peak was 205-Patterson 190.
    2. Frazier survived Ali who had very fast hands. I don't think Floyd's fast hands would be an insurmountable obstacle.
    3. Frazier was a slow starter--It is often forgotten that Floyd was also.
    4. I agree with those that think Floyd's style and ring assets were all wrong for dealing with Frazier. He didn't have the movement to stay away and it is difficult to imagine Floyd having the strength to deal with Joe inside, or to have the defense to avoid that left hook.
