The other day I was talking to some fight fans in Philly and ask them about who would win a fight if Frazier and Jimmy Young (74-77) were in there primes. To my surprise it was about even. One is a brawler (with a great left hook) who will fight all night and the other one is a slick boxer who was a good counter puncher and good chin. What do you all think?

Well both of them sparred often in Philly and Young developed his style due to Fraizers style .Honestly boxing is about styles and if both were in their prime I give it to Fraizer.Young was great with big punchers that loaded up .Fraizer was a brawler who gave you no room to punch his left hook to the body would of taken its toll on Young you cant slip body shots.Fraizer by 11thrnd tko.

Joe would take it by late rounds stoppage,in a hypothetical prime for prime scenario. In reality the only time it would have been feasible for them to fight would have been 1975/76. Joe would have won in '75. After Manila, though,in '76,I'd have favoured Young.

Young would not beat Frazier 1 time out of 100 times. He would never be able to stop him and he would never let his hands go enough to decision him. Ever. He didn't let his hands go against the zombie of Ali, let alone would he against a healthy, elite, fast, swarming puncher. He'd get his **** pushed in up to his ****ing eyeballs. His best win was over a great fighter who almost died in the dressing room after the fight, from dehydration.
