Jimmy Youngs a defensive master. Tyson didn't stop Tony Tucker and Frazier lost his Ali trilogy though it was pretty much a draw.

I feel you calling me strange is a running gag at this point. Even when you agree with me you can't help bring out how "baffling" it is that I think Tony Tucker is better than Mike Weaver. We could be posting about the weather and you'll be like "its kinda baffling how you overrate Tony Tucker and Jimmy Young".

Because you do post alot of baffling takes it has to be said and its not just me that thinks it.

There's nothing with you as a poster regarding your personality your not a bad guy and you're not disrespectful.

But it has to be said some of your takes leave me scratching my head where I don't understand your thought process at all.

Like how is 6'5 Tucker relevant to Young ?

And how is Ali fighting a war vs Frazier revelant to Young ?

How is an ultra defensive Young going to be successful vs two ATG swarmer/pressure fighters ? It makes no sense what you're saying.

Just like you say "Young is one of the hardest fighters ever to beat over 15 rounds" but he's never won a 15 round decision in his life going 0-1 vs Norton.

Hence what I mean about baffling takes.

Agree that Frazier is too incessant for Young. Frazier’s own power shouldn’t be underrated either but at any rate, he’d accumulate far more damage on Young than either Foreman or Lyle managed.

Also, to have a hope of hanging with Joe to any degree, you have to show more power and intent to engage than Young displayed.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Young was an excellent boxer but yeah, in a nutshell, Frazier is all wrong for the relative minimalist, Young, in terms of the stylistic mesh involved.
