To quote Holmes "Joe LOVED guys like that (those who came in fast a lot)." Foreman, Frazier, Tyson, Bonecrusher...total wipeout. Even Holmes, never a heavy puncher, knocked him senseless in three. Spinks beat a way-past-it Ali, the same Ali who should have given it up after Frazier III.
Guys I like Leon but what the Coetzee fight proved was that he never evolved to true contender status .. he defeated a very physically old Ali and then lost to a worse version based on his own lack of focus .. Holmes crushed him in three rounds and he might not have lasted that long against a prime Frazier .. here's how long the fight would last ... until Frazier started too break a sweat .. then he would decapitate Spinks .. Leon did not have the firepower , defense or chin to even compete w Frazier ..

C'mon, it let Frazier-Stander, Foreman-Roman, Ali-Dunn, Holmes-Evangelista, and Spinks-Tangstaad all happen. This is nothing close to those.
hmmm, yea, I guess so, I was just hoping otherwise.lol I like Leon, a very capable fighter, but I think this is a bad matchup for him
I find it interesting people think Leon could last longer against prime Frazier than he did against prime Holmes.
