Frazier had to be carefull for Shavers power but Joe should smoke em, too much class....Frazier work ethic vs Lyle too much he stops Lyle before 12

Frazier would destroy Ernie Shavers even if he had to get off the floor to do it.

Frazier vs Lyle? Frazier by late KO or decision. When Lyle retired from boxing he was asked if he regretted not fighting Frazier. Lyle's response was no because Frazier was a bad man.

Frazier was hurt early by many fighters who could punch.

If Shavers hurts Joe in the first 2 rounds.....then he might stop him like Foreman did.

    Otherwise Joe wins late.

Frazier was a class above these fighters. He beats Shavers by TKO in round 3. He beats Lyle by TKO in round 11.

Frazier beats both of them, shavers by early ko and lyle by mid round tko. Shavers would be the more dangerous of the two because of his power but his chin was only average and would fail him. Lyle punched hard (ala jerry guarry) but his chin was also faulty. Both fights would've been exciting while they lasted.

i think Foreman was abit better at picking his shots and concentrating his punch power and a better finisher but didnt have as much power. So i think he owuld KD Joe in the first 2 rounds but i think Joe would survive thr hard round like he did against Bonavena. Then he would go onto to stop him in the olate rounds

I believe Joe wins both of these. With Shaver's he of course had a punchers chance, but Joe was able to get on his feet again after some nice shots...So while Joe might face some shaky moments early on I see him closing this around 4 or 5...With Lyle I believe Joe would have a nice war, but evetually wear him down sometime between rds 8-10...I would probably like to see him square off against Norton more than either of these.
