Joe frazier vs prime Joe joyce

Joyce is literally--literally--not hitting prime Frazier clean through most of the fight. That, and his ribs and liver will resemble a minced chicken ran over by a parade of International CXT before the bout is over.

 

It has blown my mind that 9 so called boxing fans have picked the mediocre Joyce to beat the atg Frazier

 

I'm a big Joyce fan and even I see it only going one way with Frazier winning. Size isn't everything, otherwise Valuev wouldn't have lost to Haye or anyone else for that matter.

 

Jameel Big Time McCline would have beaten Bryd too.

Too many here look at the old time HWs through heavy nostalgia glasses.

Joyce is much larger than Foreman with a better engine. It would look like a CW (in Frazier's prime he was slightly bigger) vs. a SHW in there. I'm not suggesting Frazier has no chance, but he was a slow starter and could be hit. If the semi crude Bonavena could drop Joe 2X, I think Joyce could drop him. Would Frazier easily defeat Dubois, Parker, Zhang too? I could see Joe F lose some of those.
Anyway, would be interesting.
