Frazier could do any of what Mercer did but a bit better, Frazier UD. Mercer had a great chin so I think he could have possibly taken Foreman's shots better, but thats it really.
I pick Frazier and Marciano by UD in 12 rounds and maybe by stoppage in 15th round in 15 rnds fight against Mercer.
Mercer has an amazing chin and has been able to take hard punches from some of the hardest punchers in the division without being stopped so I don't think Frazier can stop him. As for the fight Frazier should be able to outwork him but Mercer does hit very hard and Frazier while having a good chin hasn’t shown the same level of chin as Mercer and has been hurt before so I can see Mercer stopping him if he gets a good combination off. Still overall I'd probably favor Frazier just because he's way more consistent but Mercer def has the chin and the power to win.
Mercer can stop Frazier by getting a good combo off?? Foreman couldn't keep Frazier down after 6 knockdown and he's the only one to stop him. Yes I know about Manila obviously but that was Futch stepping in to stop it. It sounds like your implying Frazier has no chin lol. Come on man
He got hurt by Oscar Bonavena and Bugner two guys who I'm positive Mercer hits harder then like I said I still favor Frazier but its possible for Mercer to hurt him and no man is invincible plus Mercer would be one of the biggest guys Frazier has fought so wouldn't be an easy matchup
