    Two wicked left hookers!

Ruddock MAY have had the better chin, but Frazier has a truck load of guts and will never quit coming... Frazier was the most relentless heavyweight champion of all time. This one has the recipe for short and explosive.

This I think would be a good one..

i don't really know why you think Frazier has a "suspect" chin.
Foreman knocked him around yeah, so that just means his chin isn't on an ATG Level.
but other then the foreman fights he took a lot of heavy shots in the ali fights and the quarry fights
bonavena had him down twice, but this was a green frazier as well
    i dont understand it

by the way i got Frazier Unanimous Decision

    Frazier, little to no doubt.

One of the best conditioned heavies of all time against one with asthma?

I DO NOT think Frazier has a bad chin, I realize Foreman is a HUGE puncher, maybe the heaviest puncher of all time. It’s Joes relentless smoking style, he is there to be hit and you can't deny that against a puncher like Ruddock he could be hit and more then likely hurt..

This thread is not a knock on Joe, I realize Razor isn’t in Frazier’s class In an all time sense. I have enormous respect for Frazier, I have Frazier at #7 on my all time great heavyweights list!!

This one just seemed like a fun matchup.

Fraziers chin is no more suspect than Ruddocks

Look what Lewis and Morrison did to Ruddock - I dont doubt that Foreman hit Frazier harder than Lewis or Morrison could

Tough but decisive win for Frazier

Prime Razor crushes Lewis, Marciano, Frazier, Louis, and Dempsey. Too big, too strong. He was an all time great before Mike ruined him in the greatest performance of his career. :nut

Other than Tyson, I would only favor Ike, Tua, Mercer and Foreman over Ruddock...even than, he has a puncher's chance.

Ruddock would have a punchers chance for sure. Frazier still wins

Some will question my sanity, but I think '89 Ruddock could give '71 Frazier a tough fight using his raw power, strength, size & razor-sharp jab. Also, Frazier would likely hit the canvas more times.
However, Peak Frazier has endless stamina & when he starts relentlessly smokin' he would take over the fight to win a clear decision across 12 rounds or a KO/TKO inside 15.

Ruddock went the distance with 220 lb Tyson.....he would have a near 30 lb advantage over prime 205 lb Frazier. Smoking Joe was nearly stopped by a blown up cruiser. What's a real modern heavy like Ruddock going to do to him? Some small fighters can adapt like James Toney but Joe just comes forward, taking punishment. You Classic fans crack me up.

Frazier would be in serious trouble early.

Serious trouble. If Frazier can survive the early rounds obviously he has it in the bag but Ruddock has monstrous power and Frazier could always be hit. Manuel Ramos shook a prime Frazier up with an uppercut.

It's not about whose the greater heavyweight it's about who would win.

Frazier is facing serious problems here. He struggled against nearly all the big fighters he faced, even fat Buster Mathis gave him all he could handle due to size and Mathis didn't even have power.

I favor Frazier over EVERY "boxer" who ever lived (excluding pre exile Ali) but I don't like him against top notch punchers in the least.
