Frazier knocks Ruddock out cold in the mid or late rounds. Too much determination/ferosity/willpower and endless stamina, combined with absolutely perfect left hook.

Most people will favour Frazier and that's fine but he never beat someone that can hit like Ruddock. And Ruddock's uppercut and "Smash" are good weapons against the smaller bobbing and weaving fighter.

I think Frazier was mentally tougher than Tyson but I don't think he took single punches as well as Tyson did. I'm a firm believer that Tyson had a great chin in his prime and I don't think Frazier could take flush bombs off of Ruddock quite like Tyson did.

I think it's a very dangerous fight vs Frazier you probably make him the favourite based on having the better career but style wise it wouldn't surprise me if Ruddock knocked him out.

Ruddock by tko …. To big at 238 lbs against it would look like foreman v Frazier only longer !!!!!!! Frazier taking that big uppercut while he’s coming in ? Style wise this is a nite mare for Joe Frazier !!! ruddocks size would be able to push Frazier backwards / ruddock pushing 205 lbs Frazier going backwards were he’s getting no leverage on his punches !!! Styles make fights !!!!

razor ruddock stops Joe Frazier in 10 rds

I would have to agree with you !!!! Ps ruddock looked huge for the Tyson rematch that extra 10 lbs made him look huge did you see the size of ruddocks back ??? Compared to the first fight ?

Ruddock was a good dangerous fighter, but he was no Foreman, and it would take a top ten of all time heavyweight to seriously compete with and possibly beat that version of Frazier.

Frazier would likely stop Rudduck in the mid rounds.

Yeah, Tyson said that Ruddock hits like a mule kick. Tough fight for Frazier.

Frazier stops him sometime after 8 once he gets smoking.

I do wonder about this. Is Joe's chin as good as Mike's was? If there is any chink in that armour, Ruddock could bang...and Joe might be made for Ruddoc trademark 'smash'. Styles make fights so Donovan early or Joe late, seems relatively simple....

Joe have stamina for 15 rounds. His endurance was much better compared to Tyson’s, but I don’t think Joe had a better chin. Tyson often went down more from exhaustion than from being hit. Just look at Tyson’s 20-inch neck it wasn’t easy to knock him down.

Could Razor have dropped Joe? Absolutely, could he keep a prime Frazier on the mat? No, Joe would administer a methodical beating that would culminate in a late round KO in a really brutal fight

Yeah Ruddock put on some extra bulk probably thought he needed it to withstand the punishment from Tyson.

Frazier is the greater fighter but the size/power might be a bad style match up for the smaller Frazier who didn't really beat any notable KO artists.

Whoever lands. Frazier wasn’t great against against big guys who shoved and threw uppercuts and Ruddock had crappy defense for left hooks.
