Ruddock was a vicious puncher but he telegraphed his smash and was very easy to hit.

Before landing his bomb against a faded Dokes he had been stunned by a Dokes hook in the 2nd whilst countering his smash.

Morrison did the same except he countered a right uppercut.

A Ruddock victory isn´t impossible because of his power but I´d see Frazier´s insane workrate and body punching battering him to standstill in 10.

Wasn´t Lewis final punch a left? Didn´t Tyson also stun and then finish with hooks in their 1st fight?

Lewis threw an overhand right and he was stopped on his feet against Tyson and complained. Frazier might tko him, but probably wouldn’t one shot him.

Ruddock has nothing … N-O-T-H-I-N-G … for prime Frazier.

Jeez man, bit strong isn't it? I often wonder what happened to manners and polite conversation, then I remembered the internet provided a cloak of anonymity that gave some people licence to display the side they keep hidden in public. I'll go vote now, happy to be part of this punchline....

Razor has the tools to win this. He has the size, strength and punching power to win this. But I'll give Frazier the benefit of the doubt and say he wins a decision after being dropped.

Tough for a couple rounds. Ruddock was a one handed fighter with poor balance. He didn't use his jab after Dokes.
Even if Razor landed clean he could knock Joe down but he could never finish him.
Frazier outworks Ruddock. An infighting lesson, scores a couple knockdowns along the way

Whilst there's no doubt that Frazier is the much greater fighter, this is definitely a dangerous match up for him.
Joe SHOULD get a decision or a late stoppage, but Ruddock s Power Was genuine so it's not a certain win imo.

Ruddock can only hurt Frazier, not finish him, is the issue.

    Frazier TKO9.

styles make fights... Joe Frazier was made for someone like Ruddock... I'm really sorry but it would be a fight that we would consider sensational from a historical perspective but at the time? I think that Frazier would not even be the audience's favorite, Ruddock had recognition after the first fight with Tyson and Frazier did not have full legitimacy before Ali... Size, style... no sentiments, in my opinion Ruddock wins UD against brave Frazier after a few KDs.

At the same time, Razor would be outclassed by the then weaker Ali and probably easily knocked out by Foreman.
