Wait a Minute! Werent you just going on and on in the other thread. that Fraizer was too big for Marciano. Now that FRAZIER is the smaller man, your singing a different tune! A little consistency here, for the Classic forum...

  2. you are absolutely ******ed.
i never said frazier was too big for rocky, ****ing liar.
i said that frazier was heavier. obviously i never said frazier would beat rocky based on the weight , it is absurd, simply it is a other advantage, frazier had more advantages on rocky .
    learn boxing, bum

Either way, you have made a great play about weight difference as a determining factor in a fight when it serves your purpouses.

You seem to be equaly happy to ignore it when one of your favourite fighters ends up on the wrong end of the weight discrepancy.

Riddick Bowe clearly has a big size advantage over Joe Frazier.

  4. wrong, obviously if we are comparing marciano (5´11 185 pounds, slow, short puncher) with vitali (6´8 245 pounds, great chin, great hitting power, good speed, stamina, heart, good skill) i will pick vitali.... frazier was a solid 5´11 210 pounder , prime bowe was 6´5 and 230 pounds and he was not foreman.

and you are trying to say that schmeling or baer would have chance against foreman or frazier simply to give more credit to joe louis.(it is simply pathetic).

carnera , simon, or budy had even bigger size advantage over joe louis..

    Hmmm
One of these guys almost died in the ring fighting for a belt which the other threw in the garbage rather than face a dangerous opponent...

..That tells me all I need to Know

    Frazier KO 7

  9. wrong !!!

in 1972 28 years old joe frazier weighed 217 1/2 against ron stander, he weighed 210 against bob foster,215 against daniels , the best bowe weighed 225 pounds against seldon, against biggs 226pounds,against tubbs 226, against holyfield 235.

frazier was 5´11 and bowe 6´5, frazier was more compact and bowe was not ripped, hard puncher or strong like foreman

Bowe of '92 is too big and skilled for Frazier of 1970 in my eyes....... Bowe at a well tuned 235 pounds does a number on Frazier who was around 209 pounds when well tuned..... Cheerio....
    :bbb:deal

  15. anyway frazier 210 vs bowe 230 , joe would **** bowe.
joe with modern advantages in the era of bowe would have weighed 220 pounds easy
