Joe Frazier vs. Riddick Bowe

Futch said he worked with Frazier on how to avoid Ali`s jab with erratic head movement so that he couldn`t be timed, Bowe would miss with a lot jabs and his defense wa worse than Frazier`s who was great at bobbing and weaving his way in.

Bowe didn`t fight like Foreman.

 

Joe Frazier would wear out Bowe , Frazier is a notch above Holyfield in power and pressure ,Joe was relentless and the pressure would cause Bowe to wilt around the 12th round .

 

Bowe would let Frazier inside quite often. He's comfortable in there. Bowe put combos together very crisply. He's got two hands to worry about.

 

Bowe was defensively responsible after punching and would get countered by hooks most times that he let go his shots.

 

Joe wasn't hard to find.

 

Count the amount of jabs he slipped in the Ali fight at MSG. He slipped far more punches than Bowe did or could.
