yes and being a ****ing fat right? it would have been great for rocky and his stamina.:rofl what a bunch of crap, marciano was in perfect shape at 185 pounds, at 200 pounds rocky was a short fat, plain and simple

gotta go with rocky on this one as he had the better chin imo. on the inside i think rocky was damn good, but frazier was busier and harder to hit clean but id go with marcianos chin. certainly woulnt bet on it.[ wouldnt mind seeing langford up against these guys]

Your getting emotional about this. Maybe your husband-gay lover can give you a foot massage so you'll calm down.

Frazier by KO. And it's not close. rocky gets brutalised by a whole host of heavy weights. Hell even Gregg Page on a good day would have good shot.

So does this mean if Frazier is outweighed by 20 pounds what you said above also applies? Please answer as I am curious. Joe was under 6 feet and had a very short reach too.

MY POINT IS THE NEXT: Joe frazier was naturally the bigger man, both men were were built similar, thick, robust and strong frame, simply joe was naturally 20 pounds bigger, it is not like saying a man who was heavier because he did eat too much, frazier was in perfect shape in 1969-71 ellis.foster ali and frazier weighed 205-210 pounds, rocky was perfect at 184-187. frazier was the bigger man, and i think that he was stronger because they were built similar, he took a better shot too, frazier was a better version of marciano with some differences and rocky had a harder right hand, that´s all, frazier was faster with feet and hands, he was better pressure fighter, harder to outbox, more skilled, more aggressive, probably stronger, better body puncher, he was harder to hit clean, he had as much stamina and heart. frazier was better and he proved a better chin

your comment was horrible and ridiculous , you said that marciano could carry 220 pounds like galento, sorry but this comment is trash, rocky was in perfect shape at 185 pounds, he was a fat at 200 pounds, at 220 he was a beach ball

frazier had heart but could be knocked out fairly easily and was by punchers. frazier was a once punch fighter. marciano had A+ conditioning, a great chin and devastating power in both hands. marciano would have stopped frazier inside of 7 rounds. the only "punchers" in HW history that COULD beat Marciano are Foreman and tyson. frazier would have gotten KTFO. sorry JOE

Wrong fight for Frazier, Marciano had too much power in both hands and gets inside on Joe with awkward power, the more I think of this fight I think the key is the Marciano right hand with the double hook. I think I like Rocky before 5, I just think Frazier is perfect for him but lots of action before the end like Hagler-Hearns but Rocky fighting a outside slickster like Walcott and an inside and outside slickster like Charles is more difficult to score a one punch KO but Frazier would be there to hit like Layne and Louis and the 6'4 Vingo once he felt the power...Frazier can not survive Marciano's right hand

Frazier himself said the only 2 men he would admit he would not beat were he to have faced them would've been Joe Louis & Rocky Marciano.

Muhammad Ali also said, when asked about Marciano by Cossell, "he was better than Frazier, put it that way. I truly believe he was better than Joe Frazier...and you know what happened with Joe Frazier."

You said previously that Frazier took shots from Foster like nothing but Foster didn't throw any power shots in that one anyway? Not one? In the 1 and a bit rounds he lasted. He didn't have a prayer from the start because he was too flimsy just flicking at Frazier and back-pedalling - that's why Frazier took them like nothing.

Plus if you think Foster hit harder than Walcott you really are deluded

Someone mentioned Frazier's 100% KO ratio against men below 200lbs...but then he forgot about Rocky's 100% KO ratio against men OVER 200lbs?? And his 10 of 11 further KOs of any guys anything over 195? Not to mention (other than Charles) Marciano winning the last 13 fights of his career all by KO? And winning his first 16 straight by KOs - a record until Tyson.

Frazier needed 10 rounds to stop an absolutely shopworn and ashen Eddie Machen? Was given a real battle by Jerry Quarry and that as only won on a cut after 6 which was terrible luck for Jerry? Was taken the distance twice by Bonavena, twice by Ali, once by Bugner and Foster and Ellis weren't anywhere near strong enough - Ellis was pulled out by his corner aswell?

Infact Frazier didn't generally KNOCK PEOPLE OUT? He needed 11 rounds to only stop Buster Mathis, he stopped Quarry on the cut? Chuvalo in a facial injury? He didn't stop Bugner?

And people often brush aside Frazier getting bombed out twice by Foreman on the basis that it could happen to anyone but tell that to Jimmy Young and Peralta?

I seen Frazier rocked to his heels by Quarry, Bugner, Bruce dropped him and Bonavena dropped him twice and was close to winning on 3 knockdown rule?

I only count 8 actual Knockouts by Frazier in his career? And the only one of those that occurred during his peak against someone that could be considered top flight was Foster? I see a lot of occasions where corners pulled people out and a lot of cut things but not too many real count outs?

But Marciano KO'd Joe Louis, Jersey Joe Walcott, EZZARD Charles, Archie Moore, Rex Layne, Harry Matthews, Carmine Vingo.

Plus Rocky had no problem taking a backward step backing out when necessary and coming at it from a different angle where Frazier really couldn't fight going backwards at all?

No I see this one going the way of Rock

Rocky never beat a top level boxer in their prime and still went life and death with them. Frazier will murder this bum
