Not to mention beating up a 40 year old "once was nearly a contender" type heavyweight after almost getting flattened in the first, and beating the guy that beat 38 year old Mike Tyson atsch:rofl

Incidentally, Samil Sam and Audley Harrison put Danny Williams away far more impressively than VITLAY did - and Williams showed up in better shape for those fights too.

Yes, Frazier wouldn't have stood a chance, because VITLAY is taller and heavier atsch

 

And he wants to compare that "man" to Joe Frazier.

 

Yep, and Mendoza attacks Frazier for not protesting too hard about that Manila fight stoppage, when he was completely blind and close to death As I remember it, VITLAY didn't argue too hard with the doctor when he stopped the fight against Lewis, he only got brave once he knew it was all over, the hissy fit was for the benefit of the crowd and the Klit-ites but the reality is he'd had enough and most likely would have quit anyway had the quack not taken the decision out of his hands :deal

 

Priceless.

 

The punch stats are interesting in that one....VITLAY had out-landed Byrd by 15 punches to that point apparently (I'm not a massive fan of punch stats but I'm going to use them as gospel in this case for the fun of it)

If feather fist Byrd can do that, and end up stalking VITLAY in the later stages like he was Mike Tyson, what the hell would Frazier do :shock:

Only one winner in this match up, and it ain't the glass bodied lanky coward that's for sure :yep

Which is really disgusting and ridiculous. He should apologize for being so biased and inconsistent.

A few points here :

Byrd is a completely different match up than Frazier. More like Vitali fighting Jimmy Young. In fairness, Mendoza's crusade was against Frazier's chin and he would be easier to hit than Byrd.

Klitschko made a huge mistake by quitting in that fight. He comes from a different culture. He knew he blew it right after he did it. He has successfully worked on vindicating himself starting with the Lewis fight where he fought his heart out.

This being said:

1. Mendoza saying Joe quit in Manila and not point out this well documented quit action is a super faulty argument.

2. Putting all this aside, the Klitschko's are solid fighters with huge size who are fighting in a pathetic heavyweight division. To say they are an era in themselves and would dominate against guys like Frazier is a joke. Pitter pat Byrd was hitting Vitali at will and walking through his arm punches. Frazier would rip him to pieces. It would be nasty.

 

How much easier to hit do you reckon Frazier is?

 

The main reason he's easier to hit, is that he's coming forward the whole time. You don't have to go looking for the guy. I'd say he was very adept at slipping straight punches, though. Vitaly had considerably slower hands than Ellis, Foster, Ali etc and would in all likelyhood miss a lot more.

A relatively slow, stationary guy like that must work the uppercut to be succesful against Frazier. Lewis had a wicked uppercut and that's why I'm leaning his way in a fight against Frazier.

 

Ha ha. Yep he grant, Frazier would rip Vitali to pieces the same way he did to Bonevena twice. Those were some nasty fights. On a serious note, no Klitschko fan is going to be the slightest bit convinced by those types of statements. You have to use pure logic and reasoning. Your analysis sounds emotional driven near the end. I'm not a fan by the way.
