Joe Frazier vs. the best of the black dynamite heavyweights from 1900-1920

Suppose Frazier in his prime, fought Johnson, Langford, Jeanette, McVey, and Wills in their primes.

What would Frazier’s record be from 0-5 to 5-0?

After some thought between 3-2 and 4-1, I voted 4-1. Frazier isn't likely to lose on points due to his activity, but he is facing three punchers, two of whom were durable.

I think Langford would be his toughest match.

I think Wills would be his toughest match. Wills had a style, particularly later in his career, to muffle Frazier's aggression, tying him up on the inside and pounding away with bodyshots. Minus the bodyshots thats the style Ali used to beat Frazier in their second fight. Frazier would be hell for the other guys, especially Joe Jeanette.

What I like here is Frazier is in the middle in terms of weight ( lighter than McVey or Wills ), and I'd place him in the middle of durability as well.

    5-0

Harry Wills and Jack Johnson his toughest fights because of johnsons strength uppercut inside fighting ability and wills size punching power and ability to clinch

    Jeanette gets destroyed
    McVea gets outclassed
Langfords too short he gets decapitated by a Frazier left hook. Although Langford was a great puncher, I give him a punchers chance. Watch Langford vs Jeanette, Langford had a world class left hook
