Fury was difficult to dislike at one point tbh, then it was flipped on it's head lol, funny how that works. And yeah Frazier's legs are ****ing huge, I remember the first time I saw a picture of them I was shocked. I don't think it's talked about enough. His ankles are thick af. Seriously people, go on Joe Frazier's Wikipedia page and look at his profile picture. His quads are so huge that there's a notch in them. Extremely unusual for someone that doesn't lift weights.
David Tua is the only heavyweight I’ve seen that matched those damn tree trunks. Interesting they both were vicious left hookers as well. Fury is an interesting case study of how to lose, revive and again lose a career. If you’re interested in psychology self sabotage is a general trait of a ADHD/ bipolar person. Tyson Fury embodies this MO.
I see Joe, after a rocky beginning, knocking the hell out of Fury during the first fight of a projected three, consummately stopping him...I give Fury 9 rounds at the outside, and it would end in nasty fashion. The other two fights would be controversial decisions for Fury imo, with Fury doing just enough to smother Joe's mauling for wins. That said, it's quite possible the latter two might be split with at least one judge deeming Joe's aggression adequate enough for the win. Dubois and Zhang...to me they're a lot like the run of alphabet "champs" in the 80s, none of whom were ultimately that good. Coetzee, Page, Tubbs, Dokes. Frazier would stop each of them in a brutal, hard-to-watch manner. I imagine he might get knocked down, possibly by Zhang. To me Joe fighting any of the above besides Fury would be an intrinsic mismatch.
Looses to Fury, height reach weight all against him. Fury makes it super ugly lands his rangy shots, mauls inside. Beats Zhang better gas tank, better output Zhang can't keep the pace. Think he beats Dubois in a slug fest but when it gets really tough DD can be found wanting.
Eh. I've never stopped lurking, and have been posting under a huge variety of alts. Frankly, I'm stunned anybody here still remembers me under this particular handle after well over a decade.
Man, i easily remembered you. Interesting per the alts, there's been some very good posters under different guises that came and went. No doubt you were a couple of them hahahaha
Yeah, I was trying to discover if I could do what Stephen King tried to do with his "Richard Bachman" pseudonym. (When Arnold did The Running Man in 1987, Richard Bachman was credited as the story creator.) Through multiple sites and alts, I've had some measure of success. (I directly colluded with the owner of one site.)
