Joe Frazier vs Tua & Holyfield

I think he loses as many as he wins.I'd pick Evander to beat him and Tua to split a trilogy.

 

Evander beats him. Not so sure about Tua

 

I think Evander would play a well mannered boxing display....

Until Holy thinks he hurt Frazier and goes in for the kill, trading with Frazier.. forgetting his original game plan.
Which Frazier takes advantage and lands hard. Frazier TKO. But Evander UD if he's able to keep himself technically sound.

For Tua I think this would be a heavyweight classic, I think Tua can take it early, if not, Frazier UD or late TKO

 

Joe gets underrated IMO. No heavy who could fight at a similar pace with more heart throughout the whole fight than Frazier. Underrated slickness too.

I think Frazier would outclass Holyfield in the trenches.
Tua would be more dangerous , the lighter version set a record with Ibeabuchi for punches thrown, hit hard as hell and could take it just as well. Frazier could lose this.

 

I’d pick him to outwork Tua to a decision. A three fight series with the real deal would be epic. Not sure who comes out on top with that one but it would be a war

 

I love Joe but I think he loses to both.

Holyfield at his absolute peak had the skills to outbox Frazier to a decision win. Holyfield wasn't great defensively so he will definitely catch some hooks and might even go down. Ultimately, though, I think he hangs tough and wins on points.

Tua-Frazier would be a phonebooth fight which I don't think bodes well for Joe. Tua had a chin of granite, as shown in his fights with Ibeabuchi and Lewis. Frazier could bang but I don't think his power was enough to stop Tua. David's left hook, though, packed a mightier wallop than Joe's (IMO) and Frazier could be hurt, as proven in his fights against Bonavena, Ali, Bugner and, of course, Foreman. Controversial opinion warning: I think David stops Joe.

If Holyfield will go for the kill, then he will really have Frazier hurt, he won't just think so, it will be a certainty.
And if that ever happens, he wins, full stop. Frazier pretty much loses to most ATGs from the 90s in a straight out brawl. Not to mention Frazier only has 1 big punching hand and Holyfield has a better chin.

Tua is not the most skilled, but he hits harder than Frazier and has a better chin. If they brawl, Tua wins.

 

Actually, he gets overrated. H2H, he loses to most ATGs.

Holyfield is the better overall boxer.

You have some strange fetish for the 1990s. I guess you believe that Ruddock would stop peak Frazier as well.

 

Depends on if he can land or not. Frazier had a pretty good defense. But I give Ruddock a decent chance.

 

Evander Holyfield would have to go to war with Joe Frazier,,he ain't winning that fight. Holyfield hasn't got the firepower to keep Joe off him.
