Morrison probably hit as hard as Frazier, probably in the same ballpark. Problem Tommy has is its fleeting. He would carry that power 4 or 5 rounds and then not have it. He was so wound up and overly muscled coupled with lack of roadwork, cardio conditioning. His frame if not for steroids wasn't meant to carry 225lbs.
We saw Tommy gas out without that 2nd wind that most top flight pros get naturally. Knocking out alot of C level journeymen is good for the hype machine but then other skills never get developed. Like pacing himself over the the course of a tough fight. The confidence that comes with that. I guess you pay to learn.
What made Frazier so tough to beat is that though he had power he never depended on it. Frazier could have fought like a Morrison or Tua if he just plodded forward, didn't let his hands go, loaded up on 1 or 2 lefthooks every 30 seconds. He would have been less of a fighter.
Frazier worked that hook overtime. He carried power in it over the course of a long fight. Even the championship distance he proved it. Pretty rare but those nights that his opponent isn't going anywhere he still had answers because he threw leather.

Morrison was brutally KOd multiple times, including a 1st round KO loss. He had several knockdowns too.

Frazier was stopped twice on his feet both times. He was never actually counted out, and got off the floor to win some fight. The only man to actually take Frazier down was one of the hardest hitters ever and an ATG. Morrison got blasted out by a guy no one has heard of.

Not sure how you infer from that information that Morrison had a better chin.

Morrison was only stopped twice, same as Frazier, so I don't know where you got that "multiple times" crap. On each occasion, Morrison was hit with like a dozen punches before getting stopped. And on one occasion, Mercer hit him after he was already down. On the other hand, Frazier was lucky the ref stopped Foreman from punching him in a similar situation/manner.
When you get hit with countless punches flush, it doesn't matter who your opponent is, you're still gonna get KOd

    Tommy hit harder.

He was 6.2., his frame was more than capable of carrying 225 lbs, that's not a big weight at all given his height.

Frazier won't make it to the latter rounds, Morrison KOs him early on.

It's a shame that so many posters here regurgitate the same nonsense that's been
past down as law of Frazier had no right hand, or he was easy to hit.
He made the fastest heavy in history miss more than he landed fighting
at a pace usually reserved for middleweights and lower. Also fighters
like Mathis and Ellis who were also noted for hand speed and quickness
barely landed on him cleanly, though he was the aggressor . His bob and weave style was complimented
with a great ability of parring punches . Redirected them just before they landed.

So many here go with that same story they've read from other posters of "Foreman landed
uppercuts with ease". In an attempt to sale that story of his susceptibility to the uppercut.
But fail to acknowledge HOW Frazier was maneuvered into position for that action to happen.
Not understanding or purposely failing to acknowledge what was key for Foreman 's
    success to sale their agenda.
Foreman's physicality was uniquely his own and the way he used it to his advantage.
Though theirs been many bigger heavyweights, none fought with the physicality of
Foreman. Especially in that 1st fight with Frazier.
Some on this site needs to stop watching only the highlights on Youtube and watch
the fights themselves for a complete understanding of a fighters true capabilities.

Morrison was stopped THREE times so no, it's not the "same as frazier". All three fights are free on YouTube. If you're going to defend Morrison you should probably at the very least watch the fights available.

There is a distinct difference between being stopped on your feet and drooling on the canvas barely moving

You can make all the excuses you want, Morrison was stopped more often and by lesser opponents (other than Lewis). He doesn't remotely have the better chin. Frazier was hit by multiple punches and went down 6x and kept getting up. Morrison never showed that much toughness. Do you think Morrison gets up 6x...???

    Completely agree.

Contrary to popular belief, the statistics show Frazier actually had better accuracy and got hit less often than Tyson. That's a good point you made how he made fast accurate boxers like Ali, Ellis, Mathis, and Machen miss so many of their shots. He obviously was doing something right and wasn't that easy to land on.

And yes, people need to really study how the actual knockdowns occured against Foreman. Foreman didn't just charge in there like a bull swinging for the fences until he landed a big shot. He executed an excellent game plan and created offensive opportunities that not many other heavies use. People just downplay the win so that they can make the lazy argument that any big heavyweight with power can do the same thing to Frazier and stop him early.

Yep, and on the undercard Herbie Hide Outboxes Ali before rendering him helpless.

Ramos probably hit harder than Morrison. Not sure Tommy lasts as long as Manuel does here.
Being a white heavyweight, claiming to be John Wayne's nephew struggling against journeymen goes a long way.

The Bonavena fight was early in Joe's career, he didn't get floored again in their rematch and never again until Foreman.

Tommy is known for a weak chin and all those drugs and enhancements didn't do him any favors. Great hook but any notable opponents he actually floored them with aside from Ruddock?

but that oscar match to me was more impressive then with George cause having his suddenness and good at counters allowed him to catch joe clean

oscar almost kept joe down the first drop George never did joe that bad
