I have Joe 7-9 all-time and Vitali near the bottom of the top twenty. But h2h it's a bit different. I can't see a way for Joe to win this, over 12, 15 or any duration, on points or by stoppage.
interesting fight<Frazier of the FOTC could put the pressure on you and worked the body & head well. Vital had heavy hands & good movement but not a crackling one punch ko guy.Stamina would be a factor & both men had it. I think this fight would boil down to who can take the other guys power & Vitali took LL's best. This would be a hellfest of a 12 rounder and a battle of attrition
Vitali wins this. It’s not he early blow out of Foreman but Vitali’s high punch output and his sheer size too much to over come. Joe gets busted up and the plug is pulled on him by round 10
Vitali wins, his defence was underrated and whilst much worse than Ali's, was better against left hooks Not to mention the COLLOSAL size advantage he'd have, if he jabbed and out muscled Frazier In the clinch, I'm sure he'd cruise to a wide UD, or if he decides to trade and throw actual punches like he did against Kirk Johnson, then he'd KO Frazier and probably early
Vitali would have major problems connecting on Joe.So would Frazier as Vitali knows how to fight tall.Joe would have to focus on body,I think Joe wins this one as Vitali would quit in the latter rounds on a 15 round contest
Joe Frazier was usually the shorter man in most of his fights. He would come in low bobbing and weaving. Joe is gonna catch some shots from Vitali and he is gonna slip some on the way in. Frazier will get inside consistantly. Vitali was strong and tough. He took a good shot . His power was pretty good, a clubbing type of power. None of the snap Wlad had. Frazier would need to zero in on that body. Vitali would want to grapple and lay on Joe when Joe is inside. Who the referee is may make an impact.
