Aha! I knew you twisted it. Emanuel made the statement that public opinion suggested it would be a walk in the park (fight with Chisora) but Manny went on record insisting that Derek could be the most dangerous opponent he has had in awhile.

Now with that kind of statement and Wlad's comments regarding Mormeck... Can you not read between the lines and see what they're trying to achieve? To try and get them some recognition for defeating their opponents because people like you guys are labelling them as no good (weak contenders in a weak era type garbage). And they're no good at it, Wlad's comment was idiotic and Manny talks BS as said. But they shouldn't have to do that anyway. Anyone can see Chisora was a decent opponent anyway and Mormeck was a stellar performer at cruiser, he just didn't make tthe transition to HW well like some can. They should just let Wlad's fists do the talking instead.

Can't you see that no matter what Wlad does he's going to be criticised? If he fought Chisora and won, Chisora would be called a bum and Wlad would be called a bum beater. If he fought Chisora and lost everyone would laugh and say not only did he get beat but he got beat by another bum! He pulls out of fight for reasons other than you have claimed simply because of Manny's comments trying to pump up the fight, and you call him a coward. Yet if Chisora pulled out for similar reasons you'd claim him a coward and Wlad a champ in a weak era with nobody to fight.

He can't win with you guys. He fights and beats more decent opponents than any other champ except perhaps Lennox, which is a controversial topic in itself, and gets constantly harassed for his efforts. It's a no wonder K2 have to try so hard (sometimes too hard) to get respect with the American fame factory constantly bashing them!

And yeah that was maybe among the sillier statements Azza, he is a boxer and they aren't especially reknowned for their cognitive skills, Steward included, but to be fair Mormeck the cruiser gone heavy was a great fighter at CW. Perhaps what Wlad did to Mormeck might resemble somewhat what Wlad might do to Clay or Frazier were they to have met?

Worth a thought... If a cruiserish fighter is only really proven against other cruisers and bummish genuine heavies like "prime" Clay and Fraziers opponents, then there's nothing to suggest they could step up against a skilled giant heavy like today's and perform well is there? I think Wlad vs Mormeck is kind of a proof that that isn't the case!

Mormeck isnt good enough to wipe David Hayes arse, let alone wipe Alis or Fraziers.

The last decent CW Wladmir fought, he couldnt even put away. David Haye, a guy who didnt even come to fight. But somehow hes going to beat Ali, GTFOH

If size was the case, as you make it out to be, surely Wlad should be destroying these small guys, like Foreman did to frazier?

Surely Vitali with his so called size and punch power would have obliterated a guy like Byrd?

David 'The Fat Midget' Tua did better against Lewis than Vitali did, as did Tyson. They all lost, but they werent TKOd 6, where was all the size advantage then?

the funny thing is I am a Vladdy detractor,, however, extreme dudes just go so far claiming he couldn't beat the old ATGs, maybe they have a point, I just see it being a much closer battle I guess :think
