frazier in 11.. anyone that can make comparisons with the fat potato peter, who couldn't match fraziers workrate for a round!! apart from that wlad is tailor made for a pressure slugger with a dynamite punch! **** wlads supposed size!! buddy baer owned him in a straight fight!!!

Yes. Wlad CAN win but me being a Frazier fan aside I just see Joe smokin him sometime during the mid rounds. The size disadvantage would be a huge determining factor but Frazier's pressure should overcome that. Come to think of it, they would be like 20-30 pounds apart. Again, a matchup with a huge size disparity lol.

in a three fight series frazier wins all three, the pressure frazier would apply would make wlad change his trunks at the end of every round, wlad for me could not mentally stand up to the pressure of facing frazier, thus rendering all of wlads perceived physical advantages count for nothing

Agreed. Although I don't think Vlad would sign up for a rematch. It would be the first time Vlad would have to call upon courage and fight a more intimidating guy then himself... Not many people have had the COURAGE to stand up to Frazier much less 3 times... We all know who could though and pre-fight video aside Vlad could not touch him

Much respect to Vlad though as i think he is hated on unjustly. Vlad's v Tyson's resume minus losses is decently comparable

    Welcome aboard to ESB=
Agreed, a Buddy Baer woulkd have kod Klitschko..Baer was fearless and
though not a great fighter fought in a tougher age, where you had to "mix" it, and sometimes throw caution to the winds...

If I was forced to put everything I own on one of them it'd be Wladimir every single time, Frazier is certainly not without chance but I think he'd be too small here...

Frazier's pace would take wladimir out of his comfort zone. yes he would hit frazier but klit would be too busy to sit down on his shots or find the room to hurt joe. The panic of rushing to set himself in time would cause wlad to tire even faster than he did against brewster. wlad would have to speed up just to stay with frazier and the energy would just sapp him. wlad would be reduced into using inefective dont hit me punches that frazier would walk though. Peak Frazier never missed with his hook and he wouldnt here. Frazier by devestating KO.

Extremely good thoughts on the subject - there's been many good points put forward and this is very reasoned - still think Joe Frazier break Vlad over about 10 rounds - as long as he starts getting to Vlad early enough

Frazier would come out so fast and mean. I think the intimidation of that swarm would get Wlad out of his comfort zone. If Wlad stays cool and boxes the way he does now he probably wins, but NO WAY Joe let's him in that comfort zone. Wlad would have to deal with more then adversity. Not saying he isn't a courageous/confident fighter just not enough to keep his cool to box Joe

Yeah, lately wlad is used to doing whatever he wants with his opponents, Joe wouldn't let him do that. the pressure and body punching would get to him.

No matter what anyone says in this thread there are some factors that are 100% fact.
Frazier got completely manhandled, overpowered and stopped by the 6'3" 217lb. George Foreman in their first fight. And Wlad Klit is much bigger, much faster and way less willing to slug it out than Foreman was.
Jab, Jab, Right hand, clinch. And repeat. Would be exactly how this fight would go until Frazier got impatient and started lunging. At that point Wlad catches him with some huge right hands and left hooks and finishes him in about 8-9 rounds, very similar to what he did to Peter.

Keep one thing in mind: Prime Frazier is similar in size to what Chris Byrd was. Wlad is very good at beating up on little guys. I know JF was no punk but he was giving up 40lbs. and 6 inches and that is almost IMO insurmountable.
