Joe Frazier :Which Are The Modern Day Giants He Chops Down?

One thing hanging around at this place has done for me is to make me more appreciative of just how good peak Liston was.

 

Used to be very underrated around here. Good to see he's now getting the respect and appreciation he deserves, especially with newer posters like Pug spreading knowledge and awareness on Liston's abilities.

 

I need to revise my list of top heavyweights and Liston would be higher than he was before. (Joe Frazier, as much as it seems like I’ve dogged him here, and you’ve properly chastised me a few times LOL, would also still be in the top echelon of that list.)

 

I think Liston gets swept under the carpet mostly by folks whom don't watch more than the championship bouts. When I developed a hunger for watching as much pre-Clay Liston as possible my estimation went up exponentially.
