you lying MOFO.i never used that as evidence as to how lewis would beat ali.

also, i said ali got whooped in the third fight, not the first.

My perspective is it is up to the ref. If he doesn't call it, you got away with it. Frazier also hit low, and was very rough with his elbows in all three fights. He wasn't as dirty as Ali, but it was a fight and the referee's let it go.

First fight was a great win for Joe. Actually fought through Ali's tactics and scored a great knockdown.

I had fight 2 116-112 for Ali. I don't call that close. Frazier was also hurt worse in the 2nd round then Ali was at any point in the ring that night. Not as good a win as FOTC, but a clear Ali one nonetheless, imo.

Thrilla ended with Muhammad belting Joe all around the ring. Staggers him multiple times in 13 and 14. Landed at will, had Joe ready to go. Thrilla ended with Ali on the rise the same way, and just as violent as Frazier seizing FOTC. Ali wins by stoppage because the man who knows Smoking Joe Frazier the best, his trainer, the very hard Eddie Futch, deemed Joe had had enough and was in legitimate danger. Convincing Ali win. He'd have gotten up, had he been forced to, and may well have finished Joe in the 15th.

I just disagree. But, I do appreciate the intelligent and non-combative reply. I like civil debate :good.

Oh yea, Frazier DID want to continue, but his corner or the doc didn't let him. Ali, being the more exhausted of the 2, was the one that didn't want to continue, but got lucky Frazier's side stopped it. Frazier's face was a mess, but this man is all heart. And they both gave each other a whoopin, it was never a one way fight.
