    PHILADELPHIA
    Legendary boxer Smokin’ Joe Frazier is in the final fight of his life.

    Frazier, who gave the boxing world the “Thrilla in Manila,” and many other classic memories, is deathly ill with advanced liver cancer.

    "He’s in serious shape, we’re looking for a miracle," a source close to the former heavyweight champ told The New York Post. "They’re only giving him a short time to live. We need to have as many people as possible praying for Joe right now."

    not to be an ahole, but wouldn't it be ironic if he passes away before ali; he was having a kick seeing him suffer parkinson and saying he caused it.

    thats true, but there's a difference between talking **** and gloating over someone's disease. anyways, i guess this isn't the time to talk about such stuff. hope he KOs the cancer!

    He didnt gloat he said in a roundabout way that you get what you deserve sometimes in life. The way Ali treated Frazier in public was a joke

    A bit off topic, but i dont think Ali ever hated Frazier, i watched an Ali-Frazier doc a while back and most of the people picking Frazier were only doing it because they hated Alis guts. You could tell by their language, they werent fond of Ali in anyway. A lot of these people seemed typical KKK types anyway.

    So by taking it out on Frazier (unfairly) Ali was getting back at THOSE people (At least in his mind)
