Despite Povetkin being a better two handed hitter, my money is on Frazier to outwork and wear down Povetkin in a competitive fight. Frazier UD 12, something like 8 rounds to 4. Competitive but clear. Frazier's work rate in the later rounds is too high.
Freizer was portrayed by television's Kelsey Grammer, who was named after the goddess Freizer, the Swedelandic goddess, I believe, who was portrayed by Miss Universe contestant Arnelle Shwatzenhogger in Batman.
Assuming we’re talking about Joe FRAZIER then I would favor him to beat Povetkin. If we’re talking about someone else then I don’t know
The answer is still Povetkin. Bigger, stronger, and just as busy. Sasha wouldn't have to go looking for Frazier and it would be a nice change from fighting giants. Yeah, Frazier's left hook is probably the best punch going into this match, although Povetkin had a murderous left hook himself. The difference is that Povetkin has mastery of an array of punches and can use them creatively.
This joke now makes no sense because one of the mods (I presume) corrected the spelling of Freizer to Frazier both in the thread title and in my post so now I just like a moron
What elite boxer has Pov ever beaten? I ask because I think he is one of the most overrated boxers and I think that many base him off of potential rather then accomplishments, Every elite fighter he has ever stepped in with he simply got outclassed and was never competitive. Wlad easily shut him down and worse it seemed to me that Pov just quit and was just trying to survive. Joshua beat the hell out of him and Joshua has a horrible chin but never seemed bothered by Pov. Am I missing something?
Frazier's best win is Ali who has no punch. He faced a field of diminutive fighters who did not pose much threat. When he stepped it up to a guy the size of Povetkin (actually, smaller) who was not worthless, well, Foreman knocked him into next week. Povetkin is faster and more skilled than Foreman and he's not very far behind when it comes to punching power either. Wlad would crumple Frazier into a crinkly ball and toss him into the waste basket. Yeah you are missing that Povetkin was an old fighter by that time. Should I bring up Frazier's fight with Floyd Cummings? Why not? Because Frazier was 37? Povetkin was 39 when he fought AJ, and AJ would have whooped Cummings and Frazier in the same night.
I am not arguing your opinion of who you think would have won between the two I am simply asking you to name the elite boxers Pov beat because I do not see any. Pov was juiced to the gills and was caught multiple times and yet I see cruiserweights going the limit with him that were stopped by others. Pov is nowhere near the level of a Foreman in terms of power and I see no elite boxers he beat. Say what you want but Joe would come to win instead of Pov going safety first and basically doing a quit job in the middle of the fight.
Frazier never fought anything like a prime Wlad and if he had, he'd have been stretchered out. At 37 Frazier was going life and death with "no name" Cummings. At 39 Povetkin was competitive with AJ. Povetkin is absolutely a massive puncher and if he'd fought the guys Foreman had fought everybody would be waxing lyrical about the way he wiped out a series of midgets too.
