Anyone see Joe Gallagher making a fool of himself on ringside?

Calling Frampton a "junior witter" type character and saying he should forget about Quigg and move on with his career etc.

Looks like they want no part of Frampton.

Quigg is the British champ and Frampton is a legit challenger for that title so I don't understand where Gallagher is coming from here. If he doesn't want Quigg to fight one of his main rivals for the British title then Quigg should vacate the title and allow Frampton to fight for it.

I thought Gallagher was talking obscene rubbish here. Talking as if Frampton has no right to challenge Quigg.

It is strange considering Quigg is probably the better fighter, dont get me wrong Frampton is good but i dont think he is as RAW and good as Quigg..

Frampton will beat Quigg. He will outbox him on the backfoot and steady break him down. Quigg will have a very damaged face if it goes the distance.

Gallagher is probably the most egotistical trainer around and speaks some bollocks. Frampton trying to make a name off the back of Quigg, WTF ?? If Quigg was world champion and Frampton was using his name to get publicity then fair enough but for the christ sake Quigg is British champion and Frampton the Commonwealth, both fighting at the exact same level. Maybe Joe has watched Frampton and wants Quigg to go another route, not surprising though that he isn't going to say that.

I just think Quigg would come at him in straight lines, and Frampton has counter punching ability and good footwork that they are kind of over looking i feel.

I think it will be similar to Mitchell v Murray. Quigg is good, but over rated.

Both are of a very similar level, with Quigg having just beaten the better opponent in Booth. That's what makes this an interesting fight.

You know best bit of them comments 'go fight Munroe and Willie Casey'. Ok Joe so Carl fights two of best SBW's in Britain/Ireland while you fight who?. Jason Booth sorry to say i'm one of his biggest fans on here was far past his best he was finished in Martinez fight IMO. Sorry Joe but that's poor form asking a lad to fight the best while your man mooches around fighting Arthur's and then fight more Brazilians in WBA Intercontinental title defences.

Frampton's entitled to talk about a fight with your man. Same as Witter was to about Hatton.

I agree. And it is a very tough fight.

I thought Quigg's defence in the pocket against that African pressure fighter (forget name - but he was a tough lad) a couple of fights ago was very impressive, but Frampton wont fight him like that, different style.

I think Frampton will counter punch and be evasive, and then be steadily more offensive as the fight goes on. But, who knows, just my humble opinion?

Quigg has been more impressive than Frampton so far. I'm not sure where this mythical image of Frampton gets built up, its absurd. He's looked good, good in the sense a lot of prospects do, not this outrageously special character Barry and a few others perpetuate.
